Frustrated, they commented on the lack of encounters and Shiny encounters, and then referenced how plenty of Hisui encounters were available, saying, “Should they have just called it the Hisui Tour?”

One fan in the replies noted that The Pokemon Company seems to want to do something special with Arceus, Manaphy, and Phione, agreeing that it made sense before asking, “But what about the remaining Rotom forms and Hisuian’s.”

Some Pokemon Go players in the replies tried to explain it with lore, with one saying, “Sinnoh and Hisui are basically the same region, just named different through time”.

The original poster agreed but noted, “I just thought they would release the last three Pokemon from Sinnoh (which came out 18 years ago) before releasing more Pokemon from Hisui (which came out 2 years ago).” Some fans pointed out that there may be paid events on the way for these Pokemon.

Other fans clearly felt JakeCruiser92’s pain. One fan said they were pretty upset about the tradition of a yearly tour completing a Pokedex being broken by the game and saying, “Seems they can’t do anything consistently.”
