As reported by TrueTrophies, according to their latest scans, it seems that PlayStation might be testing out PSN trophies for PC games developed by PlayStation studios. One of their scanners has picked up a brand new list of PlayStation Trophies and interestingly, the platform for these trophies has been written as PSPC. However, this trophy list wasn’t for any specific title.
As the report goes, it seems that this trophy list that they are testing is for a separate platform, but is connected to the PlayStation 5 trophies at the same time. Due to these findings, it is assumed that PlayStation could be working on a Trophy system that is compatible on both platforms and players can unlock trophies on whichever platform they choose. In the end, this is just an assumption and not an official announcement by Sony.
Players will definitely love this addition for the PC games by PlayStation Studios as it will bring an added level of synchronicity between PC and PlayStation 5. However, it is difficult to predict when this type of system could be launched or if it even will. At the moment, all that players can do is hope for it to come true.
