There have been ongoing rumors about a potential Bloodborne remaster coming to PC, but no official confirmation has been made thus far. However, PC gamers may still have a chance to experience the action RPG developed by FromSoftware on their computers in the future, thanks to the PlayStation 4 emulator RPCSX, which recently achieved a significant milestone.
In a recent video shared by BrutalSam, the emulator is shown successfully booting up the game. While this may not impress the average user, considering that the emulator is not yet capable of displaying graphics, it is remarkable that it can boot up a AAA game without crashing, especially considering its relatively short development time. This marks the first step towards making Bloodborne playable on PC, and it will be fascinating to see what further progress is made.
RPCSX is not the only PlayStation 4 emulator currently in active development. The fpPS4 emulator is also making significant strides and can now boot over 25 commercial games, including a few in 3D. Although performance is currently subpar, the fact that these games can still somewhat run is incredibly impressive.
