Pixel users could soon have another option for in-store repairs of their phones

Pixel users may soon have an additional option for in-store repairs of their devices. Currently, users can visit Google Stores or uBreakiFix locations in New York City. However, according to sources, Best Buy is currently training its Geek Squad staff to handle Google Pixel repairs as well, as reported by 9to5Google.
Best Buy already offers in-store repairs for iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices. Initially, the in-store Pixel repairs will only be available in larger stores located in major cities such as New York and Los Angeles, with potential availability next month. The cost for a screen replacement is approximately $230, while a battery replacement for an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy handset is less than $100.

Best Buy ensures that screen repairs can be completed on the same day for iPhone 6s models or newer, and some stores provide the same service for Galaxy devices. Genuine Apple parts are used for iPhone repairs, while genuine Samsung parts are used for Galaxy repairs. Best Buy’s website lists various services offered for in-store Galaxy repairs, including fixing cracked screens, back glass replacements, display and audio issues, power/charging/battery problems, button and camera replacements, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, software issues, and more.

Although details about the specific repairs offered for Pixel models have not been confirmed, it is expected that Best Buy will offer a similar range of services. Additionally, members of My Best Buy Total (priced at $179.99 per year) receive a 20% discount on all repairs. Pixel users should wait for an official announcement from Best Buy before visiting their nearest location for repairs.
