While iOS 17.5 is not a big update, it will have some new features and updates. Here are the new features you can expect:
Web Distribution
Apple introduced a Web Distribution feature last month, allowing the developers to distribute their iOS apps straight from their websites. Now Apple has confirmed that iOS 17.5 beta will support Web Distribution.
New Quartiles game For Apple News+
Apple (about iphone 17) users in Canada and the United States will find a new Quartiles word game after updating to iOS 17.5. It will be a new addition to the Apple News+ subscribers. The new update also adds Game Center integration to all three of the Apple News+ games.
Design Changes
iOS 17.5 updates (apple warning for iphone users) will have certain design changes as well which include:
- The new podcast widget with a new dynamic colour.
- In the Apple Books app, Apple has redesigned the Reading Goal icon in the top navigation bar.
- A new glyph for the “Passkeys Access for Web Browsers” will be added in the settings app under the Privacy and Security menu.
Find My Network Update
iOS 17.5 will have a new system centred around anti-stalking capabilities for accessories like AirTags.
New Repair State
Apple will add a New Repair State feature to the new update of iOS 17.5. This feature will allow the user to confirm their Apple ID and password that they are about to send their iPhone for repair. This will let the technician confirm that the person owns the iPhone and then proceed with the repair without the need to turn off stolen device protection.
