One Piece’s New Opening Dedicated to Wano Arc Is Stunning

The One Piece anime has received a new opening celebrating the Wano Country rc and the journey the characters went through. The opening debuted with episode 1074 on September 3, and it features the song The Peak by popular Japanese pop band Sekai no Owari.

Fans are praising the opening for its visuals and framing, as well as for perfectly capturing the Wano Arc’s conclusion. While not much happens in the first 35 seconds of the OP, things start to pick up and fans are treated to some fluid and clean animation. The new opening then takes fans back to the celebration of the Wano Country arc, and is sure to make for a nostalgic viewing later down the line. The opening video is created by Megumi Ishitani, who has a reputation among One Piece fans for creating some of the most visually-pleasing episodes of One Piece.

The opening could possibly be just for the ending of the Wano arc, and could see additional scenes added to it. Plus, it wouldn’t be unlikely to have a special opening just for concluding the long arc.
