Earlier this month, it was announced that Nathan Pyle and Dan Harmon’s highly anticipated animated series adaptation of Pyle’s bestselling webcomic and graphic novel, Strange Planet, will be available on Apple TV+ starting August. With just over two weeks until the premiere, the official trailer for the 10-episode series is now available, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. The talented voice cast for Strange Planet includes Tunde Adebimpe, Demi Adejuyigbe, Lori Tan Chinn, Danny Pudi, and Hannah Einbinder. Accompanied by the music of Marshmello, the official trailer brings the whimsical world of Strange Planet to life. The series will premiere on August 9th, with three episodes available for immediate viewing.
Based on the New York Times bestselling graphic novel and social media phenomenon, Strange Planet offers a hilarious and insightful exploration of a parallel world similar to our own. In a colorful setting of cotton candy pinks and purples, relatable blue characters navigate the absurdity of everyday human traditions.
