Nothing Phone (2a) shows up in official-looking renders

The Nothing Phone (2a) is set to debut next month officially, but on the company’s own forums, a collection of official-looking renders have appeared to show off what seems to be the final design.

While the design of the Nothing Phone (2a) was briefly up for debate, these latest renders seem to remove all doubt. The renders, which appear to be official, were posted by Nothing forum user “Greg2024.” There’s no evidence on the sourcing besides “a friend sent me these” (which, at least in my mind, hints these are probably being “leaked” intentionally in a coy marketing move).

The Phone (2a) has a new design with a centered camera module and its own Glyph lighting array around that main circle. Below, a pipe-looking design snakes its way to the bottom of the device, but without any additional lights.

Up front, fairly slim (and uniform) bezels surround the display which appears to be flat and has a centered cutout for the selfie camera.

The side profile shows a power button on the right and volume buttons on the left, and we can also see that the cameras only slightly come out from the back of the device too.

The simplified lighting system and design align with the device’s budget focus, but this is still very clearly a Nothing Phone. How Glyph features may change, though, remains to be seen.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is set to debut in early March, and it’s already been revealed that the device will be Nothing’s first with a MediaTek processor. Pricing is expected to land at €349.
