Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, has recently unveiled the first set of teasers for Chapter 4, Season 3 of Battle Royale. Named Fortnite Wilds, the upcoming season has a tropical theme and introduces new points of interest, as well as an adventurer Battle Pass skin. Following several leaks, the game maker confirmed that the new season will be released on June 9 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android. Interested fans can check out this week’s Summer Game Fest event to learn more about Fortnite Wilds and see gameplay footage. Fortnite Wilds is set to be showcased during the June 8 presentation. Some of the new skins, POI, and map leaks are also available for preview.
Season 3 of Fortnite will feature a crossover with Transformers franchise, in conjunction with the release of the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie. Players can get an Optimus Prime skin in the Battle Pass. Apart from that, helicopters will be equipped with a launcher that is devastating to buildings and a Lever Pistol that packs a punch at slower speeds. Epic Games is also working on an Epic/Legendary Thermal Bolt Action Sniper and a Mythic Drum Shotgun. Currently, there is no word on an end-of-season event, and it seems like there won’t be another big update planned for this season.
