Google Play Games Beta on PC has undergone significant growth since its initial launch. Just two months ago, the platform announced its largest expansion to date. Now, Google is further expanding the service and introducing enhancements to the overall experience.

In a press release, Google unveiled four updates for its Play Games Beta on PC service. One of these updates pertains to the availability of the service in various regions. In May, Google added 42 new countries, bringing the total to 56 supported countries. According to the company, this number has now increased to over 120 regions in recent weeks. Google has added 60 new regions across Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America.

Speaking of availability, the Play Games Beta on PC service was initially limited to select devices. However, the system requirements were recently lowered. The minimum requirements now include a Windows 10 PC with an SSD, 10GB of free space, 8GB of RAM, an Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU or better, and four CPU physical cores. Google has also opened up the service to more PCs.

The other two updates are related to gaming in general. Google has expanded its catalog of titles, adding games such as Cookie Run: Kingdom, Eversoul, Summoners War, Homescapes, Evony: The King’s Return, Call of Dragons, Free Fire MAX, and Arknights. The company specifically mentions that Free Fire MAX is currently available in Malaysia and Taiwan and will be launching in more regions in the upcoming weeks.

The last update addresses a long-awaited and much-appreciated feature: keyboard remapping. Users now have the freedom to rebind keys and customize their controls to suit their preferred gaming style.

At this time, the full launch date of the service is still unknown. However, Google advises to stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
