Amazfit has launched the Balance Special Edition smartwatches worldwide. Four new colors, inspired by nature, are now available: Woodland (brown), Lagoon (blue/green), Meadow (green) and Deep Sea Blue. These join the two existing colorways of Midnight (black) and Sunset Grey.
Zepp Health, the company behind the Amazfit Balance smartwatch, has pledged to donate a portion of each sale to One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization tackling deforestation worldwide. $2 from each purchase of the wearable will go towards forestry projects across urban areas in Europe. Alongside the donation, customers will receive an eco-friendly sticker to mark their purchase.
Besides the different colored watch straps, the Special Edition smartwatch is identical to the original model. Features include Bluetooth calling, Amazon Alexa voice commands and analysis of your mental and physical readiness for the day. You can also use the wearable to track your heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress and sleep quality, which includes checking your temperature overnight. The watch has a 1.5-in HD AMOLED display and runs for up to 14 days with typical use.
The Amazfit Balance Special Edition smartwatches retail for $229.99/£249.90/€249.90, the same price as the original model. Plus, customers in the US can currently buy the wearable at a discount at the Amazfit store, with code BALANCEHS reducing the price to $194.99, though this is only available for the older colors.
