Good Omens Season 2 has finally released its first trailer for the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley. Prime Video has released a teaser poster and opening sequence that culminated in the latest trailer. The story picks up with Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) living among mortals after their display of disobedience in Season 1. The duo is banished from Heaven and Hell, and their peaceful existence is interrupted with the sudden arrival of archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm). The mystery intensifies as Gabriel goes missing from Heaven, and both Heaven and Hell have an interest in him, hinting at an impending war.
As the trailer reveals, Gabriel has no memory of himself or how he ended up in Aziraphale’s shop, and Aziraphale and Crowley help him unravel this mystery. However, Heaven and Hell are not making their lives easy, with a brewing war between them looming. Good Omens Season 2 is executive produced by Neil Gaiman and co-showrun by Douglas Mackinnon alongside Rob Wilkins as executive producer. Terry Pratchett’s estate’s representative, John Finnemore, co-writes and executive produces and Josh Cole serves as BBC Studios Productions’ head of comedy executive producer.
