Mobvoi is currently inviting users of its TicWatch Pro 3 LTE and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra smartwatches to join a new Wear OS 3 software beta program. These are the latest wearables from the brand to begin to receive the new operating system, with an update recently released for the E3.
In a Facebook post, a company representative said they were looking for customers willing to test the eSIM activation process. Mobvoi notes that users do not have to activate the eSIM, but this is preferable. Four suggested suitable SIM operators are listed: Orange France, Vodafone Germany, Vodafone Spain and Vodafone UK. Mobvoi also indicated that the update contained a small easter egg, but precisely what this is remains unclear.
Plus, it is worth noting that Google Pay will be temporarily unavailable for those who choose to install this beta update. Users are asked to complete a questionnaire to sign up for the beta testing, with the update pushed to successful candidates within 24 hours; only 200 users will be accepted for testing at this early stage. It remains to be seen when a public Wear OS 3 update will roll out to all Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE and Pro 3 Ultra smartwatches.
