‘Men of War 2’ final beta will feature fan-favourite Classic Modes

The highly anticipated final beta for Men of War 2 is just around the corner, scheduled to take place from August 10 to August 14. This exciting release will provide fans with a taste of the Classic Modes that pay homage to the beloved previous entries in the series.

The beta will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, marking the third opportunity for players to immerse themselves in the upcoming real-time strategy title.

Developer Best Way listened to the passionate community’s requests and included the highly sought-after Classic Modes. In these modes, players can easily select the nation they want to play as and gain immediate access to all units associated with that nation in each match, as explained in the press release.

Best Way also introduced a new mode called Realism Mode, which provides a fresh and challenging experience for players to test their tactical skills. This mode features fewer visual cues to indicate the visibility and health of units, a higher chance of disabling and capturing enemy vehicles, and a more limited range of fire for weapons. While it may be punishing, it promises rewarding gameplay.

The highly anticipated Men of War 2 will be available for PC on September 20. In a preview by NME, the game was praised for its perfect balance of brutality, difficulty, and tension.

Men of War 2 feels like a thoughtful update to a long-standing series, bringing freshness and intrigue. Its stunning graphics enhance the brutality of warfare, making it a truly captivating experience,” praised Jake Tucker.

In other gaming news, Life By You has announced a delay in its early access period to March 5, 2024. This extension will allow the studio to enhance the game’s visuals and deliver an even more immersive experience.
