Lies of P DLC Seemingly Confirmed Through Neowiz Job Listing

Lies of P DLC has seemingly been confirmed through a job listing from developer Neowiz on its Korean website.

The job listing was spotted by Twitter user ‘Okami Games’ some hours ago. On its job page, Neowiz appears to be looking for a DLC content planner for its recently-released Souls-like (translated with Deepl). Under the “Project Introduction” heading, Neowiz describes Lies of P and mentions that DLC is planned for production. We’ve included the Tweet from Okami Games, complete with the translation of the relevant part from the job listing below:

No further details about this ‘rumored’ DLC for the game have been provided, and Neowiz hasn’t officially confirmed the existence of an expansion for Lies of P. A developer letter from last month, however, the development team promised to be sharing a roadmap for the game soon. “In addition, we will be providing a roadmap of the contents planned for Lies of P as soon as it is ready”, the developer letter reads.

Lies of P was released last month, and received an update last week. This update nerfed Simon Manus, increased the carry capacity, decreased the weight of amulets, and more.

Lies of P is available globally now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also available via Game Pass. Here’s what we wrote about this excellent Souls-like in our launch review:

“Level design is another extremely important element of a soulslike experience, and Lies of P seems to get this gameplay element right, for the most part”, Francesco de Meo wrote. “The city of Krat is quite complex, and the variety of different locations that players will get to explore are made up of different paths and more than a couple of shortcuts, which are often filled not only with enemies but also with items, which include the aforementioned weapons, most of them of the makeshift nature, and other gear that can be used to increase P’s defense and grant different bonuses. Despite the complex appearance of the different parts of Krat, the city feels a little linear, with little of the interconnection between different areas seen in Bloodborne and the original Dark Souls. As FromSoftware went in this direction with Dark Souls 3, it’s not surprising that NEOWIZ went with a similar design philosophy with Lies of P as well, although this makes the whole city feel more like a gallery of horrors rather than a believable city like Yarnham.”
