Leaked Information Reveals Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G With Snapdragon 888 SoC Launch Schedule, Storage Capacities, and Color Choices

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, also known as the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition, comes with the Exynos 2100 SoC in India. It has been more than a year since Samsung introduced the previous Fan Edition smartphone. However, rumors have recently been circulating about the launch of a new version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Now, a reliable source is providing more information about this upcoming handset. According to the tipster, the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available with higher base storage and a new color option.

It has been reported that Samsung is planning to relaunch the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC and tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has leaked more details about this device. The tipster suggests that the Snapdragon 888 SoC-powered Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be launched in the country within the next 10 days. The base variant of the handset is expected to come with 256GB of storage and might be offered in a navy blue color option.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G was initially launched in India in January of last year at a price of Rs. 54,999 for the 128GB storage variant and Rs. 58,999 for the 256GB option. Currently, it is available for purchase with a starting price of Rs. 32,999. It debuted as a modified version of the regular Galaxy S21.

While the Indian variant of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G runs on a 5nm Exynos 2100 SoC, some global variants of the phone feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. However, Samsung may introduce the existing Snapdragon variant of the handset in India.

Now, let’s delve into the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. It boasts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM as standard. Other key specifications of the device include a triple rear camera setup led by two 12-megapixel sensors, a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor, an IP68-certified build, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W Super-Fast wired fast charging, 15W wireless fast charging, and reverse charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is the latest addition to the company’s Fan Series. It is believed that the release of the Galaxy S22 FE has been put on hold due to chip shortages and increased demand for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 FE, featuring the Exynos 2200 SoC, is expected to be available in select markets in the third quarter of this year.

In conclusion, Samsung is bringing an upgraded version of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G to India, featuring the Snapdragon 888 SoC and a higher base storage option. With its advanced specifications and anticipated availability, this smartphone is set to make a significant impact in the Indian market.
