The OnePlus 11 5G was launched in February this year with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13. The phone has received its latest OS update, OxygenOS 13.1, which includes the latest security patch and stability improvements. Initially, the update was released to a small percentage of OnePlus 11 users in India on June 15. It is currently rolling out to users in India and will be available in Europe and North America later this month. The OxygenOS 13.1 update brings performance enhancements, improved security, and system stability for the OnePlus 11 5G.
OnePlus announced the rollout of this software update last week on its Community page. The update, OxygenOS 13.1.0.580, is being released to OnePlus 11 5G smartphones in India in batches and includes the Android security patch for June 2023. Apart from improved system security and stability, the update also enhances mobile network connections, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The OnePlus 11 OS update comes with firmware version IN CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01).
OxygenOS 13.1 for OnePlus 11 is currently being rolled out in India only. OnePlus mentioned that the update will be gradually released, so some users may not receive it immediately. A small percentage of users in India received the update on June 15, with a wider rollout to follow. The update will be made available in the EU/NA region later this month.
Users can manually check for the update by going to the phone’s Settings app and selecting “Software update” > “Download the update” on their OnePlus 11.
The OnePlus 11 5G was launched earlier this year at the Cloud 11 launch event. It features Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 out-of-the-box and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone sports a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
