Console players can finally experience the latest Black Desert content, as Land Of The Morning Light has arrived on Xbox and PlayStation.
Pearl Abyss has officially launched its latest expansion, Land of the Morning Light, for consoles. PlayStation and Xbox players can now enjoy the same content that PC players have been experiencing. Although there was a slight delay due to the transfer from PC to console, the wait time has significantly decreased compared to previous releases. Read on for more information about the expansion.
“Embark on a journey through a region inspired by Korea’s Joseon dynasty, featuring stunning landscapes, intricate architecture, formidable bosses, and more. Immerse yourself in a narrative tale influenced by traditional Korean folklore, presented through non-linear quest lines comprising 80 cutscenes, 40 vignettes, and 6,000 fully-dubbed lines.”
- A Storybook Brought to Life: Experience an immersive storyline in Black Desert, where you uncover Korean tales and fables as you progress. Completed quests are stored in the ‘Storybook,’ allowing players to revisit them at any time. Encounter characters from popular Korean folktales, including the greedy Golden Pig King and the beautiful nine-tailed fox, Gumiho.
- Boss Blitz Update: Land of the Morning Light introduces a new PvE experience by challenging players of all skill levels to face fearsome bosses with customized difficulty levels. For veteran players, the “Boss Blitz” mode allows them to return to each boss on a new difficulty level or Calamity Level, competing in a weekly ranking system based on their character class.
- Visit the New Player Hub, Then Explore!: Explore Dalbeol, a vibrant village that takes inspiration from various heritage sites in Korea. With beautiful terrain and unique architecture, Dalbeol captures the essence of Hanok villages. Featuring over 15 real-world locations meticulously recreated by Pearl Abyss’ development team, players can venture through stunning mountainsides, rugged waterfalls, idyllic countrysides, eerie forests, and rocky cliff sides, immersing themselves in an authentic setting.
