James Gunn Confirms DC Studios Won’t Replace Voice Actors with AI

DC Studios Co-Head, James Gunn, recently addressed concerns about the potential replacement of voice actors with AI-generated work in the upcoming animated series, Creature Commandos. Gunn ensured fans that this wouldn’t be the case and that voice actors will still portray their live-action counterparts, as per the new policy by the DC Studios duo. The series, which will hit screens soon, focuses on Frankenstein’s monster teaming up with a werewolf, vampire, and gorgon to fight Nazis in World War II. It is the first project to get a green light from Gunn and Safran, and the DC Studios’ first project to hit screens. The voice cast includes Frank Grillo, Maria Bakalova, Indira Varma, Zoe Chao, Alan Tudyk, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, and Steve Agee. Fans can look forward to watching the animated adaptation and can rest easy knowing that their favorite voice actors will remain an essential part of the process.
