ISRO Chairman announces Chandrayaan-3 Launch Window from July 13 to July 19

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somnath announced that the scheduled launch date for Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing on the moon is July 13. In an interview with ANI, Chairman S Somnath expressed confidence in achieving a successful soft landing and mentioned that the launch could potentially be extended until July 19. ISRO had previously revealed that the testing for Chandrayaan-3 was complete, and the launch window was set between July 12 and 19.

Chairman S Somnath also provided an update on the Aditya-L1 Mission, India’s first mission to study the Sun. The target launch date for this mission is aimed for August end. Additionally, he discussed the Artemis Accords and highlighted the opportunity for Indian industries in the space sector to collaborate with US companies. He emphasized that this collaboration would enable Indian companies to access advanced technology and innovation, which could lead to market opportunities in the US.
