Is it time to replace your Fire TV Stick? A new Amazon competitor is launching in the UK soon.

Panasonic has recently unveiled its latest line of screens, and the MX800 4K LED model is causing quite a stir among Fire TV Stick enthusiasts. This cutting-edge television is fully powered by Amazon’s Fire OS software, eliminating the need for a dongle to be plugged into the back of your TV. With Fire OS at its core, users can enjoy seamless access to popular streaming apps like Disney+, Prime Video, and Netflix.

But that’s not all – the MX800 4K LED doesn’t stop at paid-for content. It also brings a plethora of free shows and movies to the table, ensuring a never-ending selection of entertainment for owners to indulge in.

In addition to the built-in Fire OS software, this revolutionary television comes equipped with a Fire-style remote control that allows users to effortlessly navigate through Alexa voice controls. Who needs to fumble around for buttons when you can simply command your TV verbally?

Panasonic takes pride in the MX800’s HDR Cinema Display, which offers a stunning array of colors, resulting in a more realistic and natural image. The TV also features the HCX Processor, discreetly tucked away behind the screen, analyzing colors, contrast, and clarity to always display the best possible image.

What sets the MX800 apart even further is its Filmmaker Mode, intelligently ensuring that the picture remains true to the vision of the filmmaker.

But that’s not all – this incredible television also supports the latest HDR technologies, such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, taking colors and contrast to new heights.

And if that wasn’t enough to impress you, Panasonic has included immersive audio capabilities in the MX800. With Dolby Atmos support, viewers are transported into the heart of the action, experiencing an enriched surround sound experience.

In the upcoming months, the MX800 4K LED will face off against Amazon’s new range of Fire-powered televisions, which have recently made their way to the UK market. This includes the budget-friendly 2 Series, the improved 4 Series, and the top-of-the-line Omni screen.

While Amazon’s TVs start at £249, there is currently an offer that slashes the price down to a tempting £179.99. As for the MX800’s price, Panasonic has yet to announce it, but we can expect that information to be released soon.

Expressing their excitement about the launch, Panasonic stated, “Today, Panasonic announces the MX800 LED 4K Ultra HD TV with Fire TV built in and access to Alexa, offering the company’s trademark high-quality picture and sound, paired with the content-forward experience of Fire TV. With Fire TV built in, the MX800 is the perfect range for consuming content without hunting through individual apps to find something to watch.”
