Internet Remains Undefeated as It Pours Social Media With Memes and Reactions

Some unconfirmed reports are circulating on the internet about potential new Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks that might have originated from the child of a Rockstar employee.

The leaks purporting to display brief glimpses of GTA 6 were uploaded on TikTok. These leaks also feature a picture allegedly portraying the Rockstar employee involved. However, GTABase.com, an X (formerly Twitter) account that covers Rockstar games, mentions that the photo used as evidence might not actually depict the employee’s son. Instead, the source of the leak could be a third-party trying to impersonate them.

The clip in question purportedly revealed various elements of the map. The uploader on TikTok apparently provided further information about the game’s cities and evidence in the comments and direct messages before the account was reportedly removed.

Memes and reactions

The leak has naturally heightened excitement among the game’s fans, who have been eagerly waiting for years. There’s a flood of and reactions from users regarding the leak, especially considering the unusual situation where it seems the employee’s son was the one who leaked everything.

“Thinking about how dead I’d be if I leaked a game my dad’s been working on for 5+ years,” one X user wrote.

“Oh god that’s ROUGH. Unfair to that worker but also not like the kid knew what he was doing fully either,” added another.

And of course, the memes, which turned the whole thing into an amusing event to witness:
