Insta360 has two new action cameras for the adventurer in you – Ace and Ace Pro. The new Ace camera comes at a starting price of $379.99, and the Pro one will set you back for $449.99. The two have many similarities – including a 2.4-inch touchscreen that flips. However, the Pro one gets a larger 1/1/3-inch sensor instead of the 1/2-inch sensor, paired with a Leica Summaritlens.Also, the Pro can shoot at up to 8K, while Ace is restricted at up to 6K @30fps.
The new Ace action cameras feature a 5nm AI neural processor, which enables features like PureVideo, though this feature is only available on the Pro model.

Another way the Ace cameras use the AI is the “AI Highlights assistant,” which can quickly find and clip action shots from large video recordings. Then, there is an “AI Warp” feature, allowing users to create different effects by entering custom and preset prompts.

These features include the ability to pause video recordings without creating multiple files and the ability to cancel an active recording by holding down the shutter button, which eliminates the need for junk-take video files. The batteries are tested to last for 100 minutes while recording in 4K30 with Active HDR, and can be charged up to 80% in just 22 minutes using a power delivery charger.
Other optional accessories are a quick-release mount, a multi-mount, a GPS preview remote, a Vertical-Horizontal Mount” and a mic adapter plus a cold shoe module.
