The long-awaited Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to take players on an amazing adventure into the world of Pandora on December 7th. Created by Ubisoft Massive, this first-person action-adventure game was showcased at the recent Ubisoft Forward presentation. With a combination of cinematic footage and in-game gameplay captured from a PS5, the trailer gives fans a glimpse of just how massive the world of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is.
Set on a section of Pandora known as the Western Frontier, the game features a host of new characters and a “reactive” world. Players will be immersed in a new storyline within the Avatar universe, with a Na’vi at its center. Multiple combat styles will be available, including stealth- and trap-based combat, along with a more headfirst approach with multiple firearms.
The game will be exclusive to current-gen consoles and PC and is developed using Ubisoft Massive’s Snowdrop engine. Fans can expect a Far Cry-like style of gameplay and exploration, as indicated by the extended gameplay trailer that showcased different biomes, flora, fauna, and transportation options to navigate the vast world of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
