Hudson’s Bay Company is expanding its Zellers pop-up stores, with 21 additional locations to be opened in The Bay stores across Canada by August 11th.
In order to test specific markets and identify potential future Zellers stores within The Bay locations, these pop-ups will vary in size, ranging from 1,000 to 2,800 sq. ft, while larger “stores” will span 8,000 to 10,000 sq. ft (excluding Queen Street in Toronto).

Furthermore, a Zellers store will be opening at The Bay in the Bramalea City Centre in Brampton, Ontario, in September.
Last year, HBC announced the return of Zellers, and the stores opened within The Bay in March. Patrick O’Rourke, editor-in-chief of MobileSyrup and a former Zellers employee, visited one of the locations earlier this year and was quite impressed.
