Huawei is rolling out software version 2.1.0.211 (COOMO7) to the Watch Fit 2. The update brings a range of new features and optimizations for the wearable, which received its last update in August.
According to the changelog, a Sleep mode has been added to the Watch Fit 2, automatically disabling the Raise to Wake feature. Plus, Huawei notes that it has optimized the Do Not Disturb mode to let users enable the Raise to Wake tool should they wish. The smartwatch now supports incoming call notifications for various social media apps and notifications for messages from social media platforms to be identified with an emoji. Unfortunately, Huawei does not provide a list of compatible social media apps. Another new feature allows users to open apps from the shortcut menu, and your swimming lap count and SpO2 measurements’ accuracy have been improved.
Update version 2.1.0.211 is 77.06 MB, with the company advising users to ensure they have the latest version of the brand’s app. If you own a Huawei Watch Fit 2, you should be able to download the update via the Huawei Health app; the company has not announced whether the rollout is complete or if the software is being released in waves.
