Honor X50, the highly anticipated successor to the Honor X40, is scheduled to launch in the first week of July. The Honor X40 made its debut in September 2022 and impressed users with its octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, Adreno 619 GPU, and a 5,100mAh battery featuring 40W fast charging support.

Excitingly, Honor also unveiled plans to release the Honor Magic V2 book-style foldable smartphone on July 12 during the 2023 Mobile World Congress in Shanghai. While the specifications of the Honor X50 have been the subject of speculation, the company has confirmed information about its processor and battery. The Geekbench listing for the Honor X50 suggests that it will be powered by an octa-core chipset coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU, as noted by PriceBaba. The listing also indicates the phone may feature 12GB of RAM and will most likely run on the Android 13-based Magic UI 7.1.

According to earlier reports, the Honor X50 will sport a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1220 pixels. The rear camera setup is expected to feature a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor along with a 2-megapixel sensor. The higher-end options with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, as well as 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, were priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately $314) and CNY 2,299 (about $361), respectively.
