Dragon Ball Super Card Game continues to release new gold-stamped Special Rare cards from the Critical Blow expansion. Today, we are excited to introduce Gamma 1 & 2.
Bandai has revealed the official name of the upcoming expansion for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game. Titled “Zenkai Series – Critical Blow,” this will be the fifth expansion in the Zenkai Series and the overall 22nd main series set for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game. Excitingly, this set will include a God Rare card, which will be the fourth of its kind in the hobby. Previous God Rare cards include Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta from Realm of the Gods, Bardock from Rise of the Z-Legends, and Son Goku from Wild Resurgence. Zenkai Series – Critical Blow will feature a variety of themes, including the Z-era Broly movies and DBS: Super Hero. Today, let’s explore some of the Special Rare cards from the red-colored section of Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Zenkai Series – Critical Blow.
The latest Special Rare cards revealed from Zenkai Series – Critical Blow are Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, showcased in a card called “Heroes Mission.” This card highlights how these two characters, despite being antagonists to Gohan, Piccolo, and Pan, actually believe they are fighting for the side of good, similar to superheroes. Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are androids created by Dr. Hedo, the grandson of Dr. Gero. Unlike his grandfather, Hedo draws inspiration from heroism rather than evil. He instills these heroic traits within Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, leading them to defect from the Red Ribbon Army and join the fight against Cell Max during the climax of DBS: Super Hero.
