After its debut in North America, the trial has now been made available in India and worldwide for both PS4 and PS5 owners. While the gameplay and mechanics stay true to the 2018 version of God of War, this trial period provides ample time to experience Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece. This game, which won six trophies at The Game Awards 2022, has already sold over 11 million copies within just three months of its launch.
Santa Monica Studio tweeted, “If you haven’t picked up God of War Ragnarök already, now’s the perfect time to give it a shot!” If you decide to purchase the game after the trial period, all progress and earned trophies will carry over. God of War Ragnarök is priced at Rs. 4,999 and continues the journey of Kratos and his teenage son Atreus as they explore the Nine Realms, seeking answers while Asgardian forces prepare for the prophesied great battle known as Ragnarök, the end of the Nordic era. Their adventure begins in Fimbulwinter and brings them face to face with mythical beings, gods, and monsters, all while trying to avoid the wrath of Freya, the former Queen of the Valkyries, whose son was slain by our heroes. Compared to the 2018 reboot, the mechanics have only undergone minor changes, such as Kratos’ ability to grapple ledges using his Blades of Chaos and infusing his weapons with elemental attacks like ice and fire.
