Fans of the popular TV show Doctor Who will be delighted to hear that Titan Entertainment has unveiled new merchandise that will be exclusively available at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con. Despite some studios pulling out of the fan convention due to strike actions, companies are still looking to capitalize on merchandise, immersive experiences, and comic books.
Titan Entertainment has released a first look at the new Doctor Who collectibles, which include a limited edition 13-piece TARDIS enamel pin collection and vinyl figures of David Tennant’s Fourteenth Doctor. The enamel pin collection will only be available during Comic-Con, making it a must-have for dedicated fans. The vinyl figure, standing at three inches tall, comes in two variations: Kawaii Fourteenth and Classic Fourteenth Doctor.
In addition to the merchandise, Doctor Who will also be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with three special episodes. The milestone will see Tennant returning to the role of the Fourteenth Doctor, offering fans a nostalgic treat. The exact release dates for these episodes are yet to be announced, but they are expected to drop in November.
The previously released trailer for the anniversary celebration has given fans a taste of what’s to come in the new phase of the series. With high-octane action sequences, cinematic appeal, and the return of familiar faces like Catherine Tate as Donna Noble, the upcoming series promises an exciting blend of old and new.
