Dragonflight Reveals New Fury Incarnate Update

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the upcoming update for World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight, titled “Fury Incarnate” (10.1.7), set to release in September. The team has shared some details about the update, including plans for the remaining Incarnates and Fyrakk. The release is scheduled for September 5th, with testing likely to begin next week.


World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s 10.1.7 update, “Fury Incarnate,” is set to arrive in September, as announced by Blizzard Entertainment. The latest set of patch notes reveals the team’s plans for the remaining Incarnates, particularly Fyrakk. The update will introduce new additions and improvements on September 5th, with testing expected to commence soon.

CONTINUING STORY QUESTS AND 10.2 CAMPAIGN PROLOGUE

The upcoming update will feature new chapters in the ongoing storylines, setting the stage for future content in update 10.2. Players can look forward to further expansion of the Reforging Tyr questline. Additionally, there will be quests that delve into the Bronze Dragonflight’s ventures into the timeways during the events of Fractures in Time (10.1.5).

DAWN OF THE INFINITE – HEROIC DIFFICULTY

The challenging eight-boss mega-dungeon, “Dawn of the Infinite,” will be divided into two queueable Heroic-difficulty dungeons.

NEW WORLD OF WARCRAFT CUSTOMIZATIONS

Players will have the opportunity to explore new customization options, including:

  • Heritage armor and associated unlock questlines for Night Elf and Forsaken characters.
  • Man’ari Eredar customizations, unlockable through a special questline featuring Prophet Velen, for Draenei players.
  • Night Elf players will have access to additional face and body tattoos, while new skin colors will be available for Forsaken players.

NEW PUBLIC OBJECTIVES: Dreamsurges

  • Selected Dragonflight zones will become attuned to the Dream, resulting in special currency drops from the zone’s rares and world quests. This currency can be used to activate zone-wide buffs and trigger Waking Dream invasion events, similar to Time Rifts.
  • Dream-empowered rares can also drop bind-on-account gear tokens, providing a valuable gear source for alts or new and returning players.
