Blizzard recently released Diablo 4 patch 1.0.3a to address the crashing issues that were introduced in the 1.0.3 update. This major patch included bug fixes, improvements, class buffs, and increased Nightmare dungeon experience gain. However, it also brought about some client crashes, which prompted Blizzard to release a hotfix for patch 1.0.3 that improved stability and fixed an issue with the Epic Adventure achievement.
Within hours, the Diablo 4 development team rolled out another update – patch 1.0.3a – to resolve various in-game crashes. The official patch notes indicated that the update addressed multiple instances of the game client crashing. Adam Fletcher, Blizzard’s Global Community Development Director, confirmed the release of the small PC client patch on Twitter and mentioned that the team would continue monitoring crash reports from users.
Interestingly, Wowhead discovered an undocumented change in this new patch. The Lucky Hit Chance of the Rogue’s Death Trap skill was increased from 4% to 8%.
As promised, Diablo 4’s development team will announce the release date for Season 1 next week, so fans should stay tuned for updates.

In just five days, the game generated over $666 million in revenue across all platforms, making it Blizzard Entertainment’s fastest-selling game of all time.
