Amazon India, the e-commerce giant, is gearing up to hold its annual Prime Day sale on July 15 and 16. In addition to the various discounts and offers on products, the company is also introducing a special youth offer for Prime subscription. This offer will reduce the price of Prime subscription by 50% for a specific age group of users. The monthly membership plan for Amazon Prime is priced at Rs. 299, while the annual plan costs Rs. 1,499. Subscribing to Prime comes with several benefits, including free delivery, early access to the sale, as well as access to Prime Video and Amazon Music.
Amazon has recently announced the Prime Youth offer for users aged between 18 and 24 years. This offer provides a cashback of Rs. 150 and Rs. 750 on monthly and annual Amazon Prime subscription plans, respectively. For other users, the prime membership costs Rs. 299 per month and Rs. 1,499 per year.
To avail of this benefit, users need to go to the youth offer tab available in the Amazon Android app and proceed to purchase a Prime membership. They can choose between a monthly or annual plan and make the payment. Next, they will be required to verify their age by submitting the necessary documents. Once verified, eligible users will receive Rs. 150 or Rs. 750 cashback on the monthly and annual subscriptions, respectively. It’s important to note that age verification must be completed within 15 days of membership activation. The cashback will be credited in the form of an Amazon Pay Gift Card.
With Amazon Prime membership, users can enjoy discounts on delivery charges and access Amazon’s over-the-top entertainment platforms, such as Prime Video and Amazon Music.
Amazon has also announced the launch of over 45,000 new products from more than 400 Indian and global brands, including OnePlus, iQoo, Realme, Samsung, Motorola, boAt, and more. Additionally, over 1,500 new products will be launched from over 110 small and medium businesses in categories such as electronics, fashion & grooming, and jewelry.
