Fitness Tracker Test has discovered listings for several upcoming Garmin smartwatches. As the image below shows, it appears that Garmin is preparing to launch new Lily-branded models, a series that it last refreshed with new colour options earlier this year. However, over two years have passed since Garmin introduced its first Lily smartwatches.
Unsurprisingly, Garmin plans to offer successors as the Lily 2. According to Fitness Tracker Test, it noticed the references to six variants on a Spanish Garmin support site, which throws more weight behind their authenticity than third-party retailer listings would have done. Based on the information shared so far, Garmin has created two variants to be sold as Classic Edition and Sport Edition.
While both are likely to utilise the same underlying hardware, Garmin will distinguish them with different strap types and finishes. Although it is unclear when Garmin will release the Lily 2 series, The Watch Hut has already listed one example on its website for £249. If that price is accurate, it would suggest that Garmin has applied a modest increase from the Lily, which launched for £229.99 as the Classic Edition and £199.99 for a Sports Edition.
