Cisco is partnering with Bang & Olufsen to release a pair of wireless earbuds for secure hybrid work.
Dubbed the Bang & Olufsen Cisco 950, the earbuds allow users to access a “top-quality audio experience” no matter their settings. It features high-fidelity audio, adaptive active noise cancellation, in-ear voice notifications, and on-ear controls. It also uses Bluetooth 5.2 for quick pairing.
The earbuds feature a “sleek ergonomic design” and come with four sets of silicone tips and one pair of foam tips, allowing users to pick their comfort level and fit.
The device is “optimized for Webex,” Cisco’s web conferencing tool, which users can pair through Android and iOS devices.
“As businesses continue to embrace the flexibility of hybrid work, employees need professional-grade tech solutions that enable work from any setting,” Snorre Kjesbu, senior vice president and general manager of Webex devices at Cisco, said.
The earbuds build on a partnership the two companies launched two years ago. In October 2021, they unveiled a luxury business headset designed for hybrid work.
Customers can start ordering the earbuds in November.
