Blizzard is currently working on an extensive update for Diablo 4, which will be accompanied by a comprehensive set of patch notes spanning 13 pages.

In a recent discussion with the community, General Manager Rod Fergusson and Game Director Joe Shely shared some insights into the changes being implemented in Diablo 4. The upcoming update will introduce various quality-of-life improvements and more unique drops for classes like the Druid.
Additionally, players can look forward to an increased amount of XP from Nightmare Dungeons, as well as modifications to how sigils function. After the patch is deployed, sigils will teleport players to Nightmare Dungeons upon usage.
Furthermore, the patch will bring numerous fixes, particularly addressing disconnect issues. Gems will now be moved to the materials tab, farming nerfs will be implemented, character buffs will be introduced, and the materials cap will be raised.
Disconnects have been a major concern for players in hardcore mode, where character deaths result in permanent deletion. Many hardcore mode players have reported losing their characters due to disconnects. Fortunately, this issue will finally be resolved.
Since its release, the Diablo team has already issued 11 hotfixes for the game, but this upcoming patch will mark the first significant update.
Blizzard aims to release the patch before season one begins, which is expected to happen in mid-July.
Despite players collectively spending 350 million hours playing Diablo 4, Blizzard mentioned that the majority of players have yet to complete the game since its release on June 5.
