Bear Embarks on a Lengthy and Solitary Journey

Gather ’round as Spirit (Dallas Goldtooth) regales you with a timeless tale in an enticing sneak peek of the highly acclaimed series, Reservation Dogs. With the third and final season drawing near, the critically acclaimed project by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, which received Critics’ Choice nominations, promises to captivate audiences with the remaining episodes. Our beloved group of friends, Elora (Devery Jacobs), Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), Cheese (Lane Factor), and Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis), embark on a journey back to their Oklahoma reservation after exploring the sandy coasts of California.

In the recently released trailer, we catch a glimpse of Bear venturing out on his own across the desert, indicating that not everyone has returned home. While the reason for his departure remains a mystery, there are numerous possibilities. Fortunately, Bear will have the guidance of his spirit animal as he embarks on this lone wolf adventure, facing new challenges along the way. Meanwhile, the rest of the group eagerly anticipates their homecoming, with characters like Mose (Lil Mike), Mekko (Funny Bone), and Rita (Sarah Podemski) cheering for their arrival. The teaser also takes us back to the salvage yard, where Kenny Boy (Kirk Fox) and Ansel (Matty Cardarople) eagerly await more illicit goods.

Season 3 aims to tie up the loose ends of various storylines. Officer Big (Zahn McClarnon) continues his quest to unravel perplexing phenomena, particularly the enigmatic Deer Lady (Kaniehtiio Horn). Additionally, we’ll catch up with the eccentric locals, Uncle Brownie (Gary Farmer) and Bucky (Wes Studi), as well as see how the NDN (Elva Guerra, Jack Maricle, Jude Barnett, Xavier Bigpond) have fared without their rival “gang”. Last season, the Rez Dogs fulfilled their late friend Daniel’s (Dalton Cramer) dream of reaching the Pacific Ocean. The group has grappled with the trauma and grief from Daniel’s suicide, a central theme of the show, and Season 3 will delve into their healing process.
