This revelation came as a surprise to popular streamers like Shroud, MissMikkaa, and AnneFuschia, who were unaware that this setting in Baldur’s Gate 3’s character creator would expose the character’s genitalia.
Similar to Cyberpunk 2077, this fantasy role-playing game offers players a range of customizable options. However, if players forget to untick the “show genitalia” and “show cinematic nudity” boxes in the game’s user options, they will see everything when the character removes their armor and clothes.
It is also understandable that players may feel taken aback because there is an assumption that the character would still be wearing some form of underwear, despite the specific setting indicating otherwise.
Furthermore, it is important to note that Twitch strictly prohibits content featuring nudity from being streamed on its platform, as stated in its Community Guidelines. This means that those who broadcast or upload content containing depictions of real nudity, even if digitally altered, are in violation of Twitch’s terms of service.
During the early access period of the game, there were no explicit sex scenes. If players were to pursue a romantic relationship with one of the characters, they would only see the words “under construction” in front of a mind flayer.
