Swangz Avenue singer Priscilla Zawedde a.k.a Azawi is not happy with a popular telecommunications company over what she terms as “outrageously expensive and inefficient internet services.”
It is rare to see Azawi vent on social media. She portrays a laidback personality and rarely is she involved in scuffles in her celebrity life.
Once in a while, however, she has aired her opinion on different matters regarding music and other affairs happening around her.
On Saturday, the songstress yet again used her X account to vent about how her data bundles expire so fast without her even using them to stream anything.
Azawi wrote revealing how 22GBs of data that she had purchased had elapsed within two days without her streaming anything.
“Wow!! 22GBs just collapsed in two days, I didn’t even stream anything, and the only app I frequent is Twitter. Walaih Airtel empisizaamu egaali makekete,” she wrote.
Azawi is not the only renowned celebrity who has gone public in demanding better services from the same telecommunications company.
Bebe Cool also threatened legal action against the telecom company in January after realizing unusual behavior in his data usage.
Azawi further expressed her discontent with the Uganda Communications Commission for not solving an issue that many Ugandans have in recent times complained about.
“I’ve seen y’all waste time tagging the UCC, bro for the times we’ve cried about the outrageously expensive and inefficient internet services, when have you ever seen UCC come out and help Ugandans? They don’t give a so baganda bange tugume BATUKAMULE paka ku mukamuzi addako!!” she added.
