Assault Case: Jonathan Majors’ Lawyer Foresees a Significant Turnaround

The ongoing assault case involving Marvel star Jonathan Majors takes another twist, as his lawyer claims that he is innocent and accuses his alleged victim of assault. According to Newsweek, two separate precincts within the New York Police Department have found probable cause to arrest Majors’ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Majors is scheduled for a court date on August 3 to face Jabbari’s allegations, which include two counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment, and attempted assault against a woman.

In contrast, Majors’ defense argues that Jabbari was the one who assaulted him, scratching and slapping his face on a street corner. Majors and his lawyer have presented evidence of this assault to the NYPD, leading to the probable cause for Jabbari’s arrest.

Newsweek reached out to both the NYPD and Jabbari for comment but received no response to confirm or deny Majors’ claims.

The incident that sparked the assault claims occurred on March 25. Majors has previously appeared in court twice in relation to the charges. Despite Majors’ lawyer’s confidence in his innocence, the case has proceeded to court. The outcome of this latest development remains uncertain, and it may affect Majors’ future roles in Hollywood and his role as Marvel’s next antagonist in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
