Apple Watch Ultra 2, Mac mini, more 9to5Mac

Your Friday edition of the best deals in Apple gear has now arrived, and is headlined by one of the best prices yet on the flagship Apple Watch Ultra 2. Now starting from $714, we are also tracking an insanely low price on the official Leather Link Watch Band at $32 (for all you FineWoven haters). On the Mac side of things, the latest headless M2 mini models are now $100 off to join an ongoing offer on the latest AirPods Pro 2. Head below for everything in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 now back down at one of its best prices

Last week we spotted Apple’s latest Ultra Watch 2 down at $714 shipped and now you’re getting another chance at one of the better prices we have ever tracked. The regularly $799 wearable is now available at the discounted rate courtesy of Amazon once again. We have seen a couple $50 and $70 price drops this year, but now you’re looking at a solid $85 drop to match the best we have tracked on Amazon. Just so we are on the same page, you’ll only find the Green/Gray Trail Loop package on sale today, but considering how notable of a drop this is, even if you’re not super into this band you can also just use some of your savings to grab something else anyway – the watch itself is the same.

Here are my two favorite bands for Series 9 and Ultra 2:

Woot is now offering the best price we have ever tracked on Apple’s official Leather Link Apple Watch Band at just $31.99 using code WOOTTECH at checkout. Shipping is free for Prime members, but a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise. This is, frankly, a wildly low price. You’re looking at band that was regularly sold for $99 directly from Apple before it replaced its leather accessories with the, to say the least, incredibly contentious FineWoven treatment. We can all appreciate the more eco-friendly approach Apple is taking, but it also made some gorgeous leather gear for folks that are into that kind of thing – this was/is one of the nicest of it all if you ask me. Amazon currently sells it at $50, for comparison.

M2 Mac mini

Save $100 on Apple’s latest M2/Pro Mac mini

Amazon is now offering the latest Apple M2 Mac mini with the elevated 512GB of storage down at $699 shipped. This marks a return from the price drop we featured last month with a solid $100 in savings from the usual $799 price tag. Today’s offer is matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon all year, coming within $20 of the all-time low there. For folks looking for a more casual Mac mini setup, and don’t really need the upgraded configuration, the 256GB model with the same 8GB of RAM is also currently $100 off at Amazon – you can grab one right now for $499 shipped. To jump up to the current M2 Pro Mac mini you’ll need to up the spend to $1,199 – this is, again, $100 off the MSRP, and comes within $50 of the Amazon low. Take a deep dive on the latest M2 Mac mini in our hands-on feature.

Apple’s upgraded AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C MagSafe charging case

Amazon is now once again offering Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 2  down at $179.99 shipped. The regularly $249 AirPods Pro 2 are now 28% off the going rate and at the lowest price we can find in new condition. Today’s deal comes within $1 of both our last mention and the Amazon all-time low. This is the latest iteration of Apple’s pro buds, complete with the USB-C port built into the refreshed MagSafe charging case that made its first debut during Apple’s 2023 September event. And this is one of only a handful of times we have tracked them in the $180 range since last fall – today’s deal also comes within $18 of the $161.99 Geek Squad Certified Refurbished listing.

M4 iPad Pro vs M2 iPad Air

Pre-orders for Apple’s new M4 iPad Pro, iPad Air, and Apple Pencil Pro now live at Amazon

Apple’s Let Loose event was let loose on the masses this morning with the M4 chip powering the thinnest and most powerful Apple tablet to date, the all-new AirPads (yes, I’m calling them this for the time being), and Apple Pencil Pro – the only Cupertino stylus that works with its latest iPad (properly anyway). While pre-orders on all of the new gear were exclusive to the official online Apple storefront earlier today, Amazon is getting in on the action this evening with Prime shipping and official pre-order listings for all of today’s new releases. Here is a giant list of quick links for all of the configurations

Pre-orders of Apple’s brand new M4 iPad Pro are now $50 off with My Best Buy Plus
