All the Big Reveals and Exciting Trailers from Nintendo Direct February 2023

Nintendo recently held its highly anticipated Direct event, where they unveiled a slew of exciting game announcements for the first half of 2023. The nearly 45-minute presentation was streamed live on Nintendo’s social channels and featured trailers for highly anticipated games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. In addition to these trailers, Nintendo also revealed that they are remastering the original Metroid Prime and adding a new course to the popular racing game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Furthermore, Nintendo has made retro Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games available on their Nintendo Online subscription service.

4. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp: This game, set to release in April, brings back the beloved strategy game with a fresh new style and exciting gameplay features. Players can look forward to designing their own maps and engaging in head-to-head battles with friends.

9. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 players can look forward to new expansion content, including battles and a new character. The expansion will add more depth and excitement to the already immersive world of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

10. Disney Illusion Island: Disney fans can rejoice as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy embark on an adventure in Disney Illusion Island. This platformer game offers exciting gameplay and can be played in four-player local co-op.

11. Octopath Traveler II demo: Players can now experience a demo of Octopath Traveler II on the Nintendo eShop. This game features a unique blend of retro pixelated and 3D CGI art styles and allows players to explore a vast and divided land.

12. Game Boy on Nintendo Switch Online: Nintendo has made retro Game Boy titles available on their Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. Players can enjoy classic games like Tetris and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX. Game Boy Advance titles are also available for those with the premium Expansion Pack.
