In March 2020, the world was thrust into chaos at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, with an uncertain future ahead. However, celebrity Gal Gadot had attempted to cheer everyone up by releasing a video of her millionaire friends singing “Imagine” by John Lennon. Nevertheless, the world was less than thrilled with the thought of wealthy people preaching about “imagine no possessions” and “there’s no heaven” amidst a deadly virus outbreak.

The SnyderVerse community, on the other hand, has come together to uplift people’s spirits in a more effective and entertaining manner. Fans have collaborated on a montage cover of The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” transforming it into “I Want It Zack’s Way.” Here’s the result:

We must admit, the video is slightly off-key, questionably produced, and one of the cringiest things we’ve witnessed in a long time. However, it’s all for a charitable cause, namely the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

This foundation is essential to both Zack Snyder and his fans, as Snyder’s daughter Autumn sadly committed suicide during the production of Justice League. Since then, Snyder has initiated several fundraisers for the organization, which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from his supporters.

In recent times, the likelihood of the SnyderVerse being restored is highly unlikely. James Gunn is steering the DCU towards a new future deviating from Snyder’s vision, with The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom offering a farewell to what started in Man of Steel ten years ago. As a result, Snyder now focuses on his upcoming Netflix Original movie, Rebel Moon, which seems to be his dream project.

However, if keeping the SnyderVerse alive helps raise critical funds for a worthy charity, then the campaign should continue.
