According to reports, Madhav Sheth, the former CEO of Realme India, is likely to become the India Head of Honor.

Madhav Sheth, former VP of Business and Corporate Strategy (Global) at Realme, is rumored to be leaving the company soon to become the head of Honor’s India branch. This news has also sparked speculations that Honor, previously owned by Chinese brand Huawei, will make a comeback in the Indian market by August this year. However, neither Honor nor Sheth have confirmed these reports. Recent sources from ET Telecom and Gizmochina have suggested that PSAV Global Tech Private Limited, Honor’s India partner, is discussing this move with Sheth. Despite this, Sheth has reportedly declined being in talks with PSAV Global Tech.

Meanwhile, Honor has no plans to set up its own team in India, and will apparently continue to rely on PSAV Global Tech. The brand previously ceased operations in India amid geopolitical tensions between India and China, as confirmed by Honor CEO Zhao Ming. Sheth has been a vital part of Realme since 2018, but was reportedly absent from a recent product launch event in India. There has been no confirmation about this development from Sheth, Honor, or Realme. Stay tuned for more updates.
