Here are the known backpack locations in Vondel:
– Fire Dept: Located on the southwest part of the rooftop on a blue tarp.
– Police Dept: Found under the stairs of the rooftop helipad.
– Mall: Leaning against a vent on the southern part of the rooftop.
– Market: Sitting near the UAV tower on the rooftop, next to a ladder.
– Castle: Located on the window sill at the top of the northwest tower.
– University: On the roof level of the parking deck in the western corner near the spiral ramp.
I recommend dropping at the Fire Dept during each match as that’s where the backpack commonly spawns. The spawn rate at other locations like Castle seems to be lower.
Interacting with the backpack will give you a phone in your hand. It will generate four random coordinates on Vondel’s tac-map. Make sure to take a quick picture of the coordinates with your phone since it disappears after providing the information. You need to visit all four locations indicated on the map.
The next step is to find pieces of paper with circular codes at each location. These can be found underwater in Vondel’s canals. Interact with the paper, and your character will begin scanning the code. No decoding is necessary; you just need to interact with it.
The challenge here is acquiring all four codes while staying alive in a battle royale match. Additionally, you need to ensure that the circle doesn’t collapse on the locations you need to visit. However, the good news is that this Easter egg doesn’t reset if you die. Your coordinates will remain the same, and you can continue decoding after respawning. Note that there have been reports of occasional bugs where the paper cannot be interacted or scanned.
Once you have successfully decoded all four locations, an encrypted supply crate will drop onto the map. This crate is marked for all players to see, making it a dangerous objective. It descends slowly, giving you enough time to reach it safely. The crate is distinguishable by its bright pink smoke, similar to loadout markers.
To complete the Body Scan Easter egg and unlock the weapon blueprint, you must open the crate yourself. You don’t need to use the weapon or win the game; simply being the first to open the crate is enough. A confirmation message will appear, and the weapon blueprint will be available for use.
Keep in mind that if you spot someone else opening the crate, you can quickly complete the quest without going through all the steps. However, please note that this Easter egg appears to be unavailable in DMZ mode. It can only be attempted in battle royale.
