On Thursday, Micromax’s Yu Televentures has finally launched the all-new Yureka Black smartphone in India; YU had been teasing the smartphone on social media for quite some time. The new YU Yureka is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available form midnight June 6, exclusively via Flipkart. The phone will come in Chrome Black and Matte Black colour variants.
The Main highlight of the phone is that it is offering 4GB of RAM in this price segment. Where as some other popular smartphone like Xiaomi Redmi 4, coolpad Note 3 Lite and Lenovo K6 Power offering slightly lower RAM in same price segment.
Coming on design, the all new YU Yureka Black sports all-metal uni-body design and the physical Home button is visible on the front; also fingerprint sensor is embedded underneath the home button. At the back, the rear camera lens is placed on the top center with two antenna lines running along the top and bottom. The YU branding can be seen down below the smartphone just above the antenna line.
Talking about specification, the YU Yureka Black features a 5” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display covered with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The YU Yureka Black runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, under the hood, the phone is powered by a at 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In terms of photography, the YU Yureka Black sports a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX 258 sensor LED flash, it also offers features like night-mode, beauty filters, Super Pixel and HDR mode. On the front end, the smartphone is equipped with an 8MP front-facing camera with flash for talking better selfies and making video calls.
Connectivity options of the phone include dual-SIM support (hybrid SIM Slot), 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and GPS. Sensors on board the Yu Yureka Black include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery along with power saving mode.
