YouTube Rolls Out Personalized Topics on iOS and Web

Back in 2019, Google revamped the homepage of YouTube for Android with new options that allow users to have more control over their Home Page and Up Next videos. At that time, the tech giant added personalized “topics” on Home and in Up Next video suggestions.

Until now, this feature was only available on Android. But today, Google announced that is bringing personalized topics on Home and Up Next to YouTube on the web and iOS.

With this update, the tech giant is also bringing this feature in multiple languages. Until now, this option on YouTube Android was only available in English, but now, it will be available in French, Portuguese, and Spanish. In addition to that, Google also revealed its plans to add more personalized topics, including additional types of YouTube Mixes, Creators, Music, Gaming, and Learning Topics.

Google has already started rolling out this feature, however, it may take a week to arrive on all iOS devices. Once available, you can take advantage of this new feature just by selecting a topic on Home and you will start to explore videos related to that specific topic in your feed. Also, in the Up Next videos tab, you will start to see topics that are related to the video or channel that you’re watching.
