Google today announced that YouTube Music will be preinstalled on the latest device launching with Android 9 and later versions. The all-new Pixel devices will also get YouTube Music as one among the GApps preinstalled on the device.

If you are already a YouTube Music user, it might be good news for you if you are making your mind to get hands-on a new smartphone. In case, if you aren’t a YouTube Music user, this is part of Google’s efforts to boost its adoption.

YouTube Music is one of the advanced music streaming app by Google, however, it still lacks some of the features from the Google Play Music such as local music library.
