YouTube App to be Launch on Nintendo Switch this Week

Nintendo Switch is going just fine with its games, but its video streaming is support is quite not yet enough to fulfill the entertainment needs of its users. But everything might change as there is a leak hinting about the YouTube App to be launch this week on Nintendo Switch.

The French site NintendHOME has tweeted an image of a YouTube app button. The said button was purportedly found in the recommended apps section on Nintendo’s website. The tweet is in French language but it is obvious that it is referring to the YouTube App. The tweet says that it is expected to come on Thursday this week, November 8.

In addition to that, Nintendo’s official website also indicated that YouTube will be launching on the eShop next week. The page is currently inaccessible, but if you scroll down on certain pages of Nintendo’s website, the “you might also like…” section suggests YouTube.

Actually, it’s not the first time though that Nintendo Switch had an interest in adding some streaming support to its platform. Nintendo Switch currently has Hulu, but it is not that big though compared to the other streaming platforms.

Speculations suggest that Netflix is also coming to Nintendo Switch after YouTube. There is a 50/50 chance of the leak to be the real one, but of course, we still need to be cautious as this might be just a hoax. Well, we will get to see about that this week, so be sure to stay tuned with TechnoCodex to be updated.
