You can Now Share Shazam Content on Instagram Stories

The latest partner of Instagram to continually push music into its platform is Shazam. Shazam has recently announced its new partnership with Instagram that will allow the users to share contents of Shazam into their stories.

This is the latest addition to Instagram ever extending feature. To use this, you need to have the latest Instagram and Shazam app installed into your phone. If you have both of them, you can now see a new Instagram option when you click on ‘Share’ in Shazam.

As we have mentioned above, all you need is some simple clicks. Open your Shazam app, choose the song you want to share, and just hit the Share button. After that, a new Instagram option will pop up and then Shazam will share the album art and song information to your Instagram Stories.

Aside from that, your follower will be able to see a ‘More on Shazam’ button. Clicking this button will accompany the post on the Instagram Stories to take them to the Shazam app, and will show the song page that you shared on Stories.

Not all of the users will be able to use it now though, as Billboard has reported that the new feature will be available to iOS users first, and will come to Android users soon. This might be practical to think as Apple now owns Shazam.

This new feature is not a new story anymore as Instagram has tried it before. Instagram has also made this functionality to many third-party music apps such Spotify, Eventbrite, and even SoundCloud. The new functionalities that it brought include sharing songs and buying concert tickets from Instagram. Stay tuned with TechoCodex to get more exciting updates.
